These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tenzle application and website at tenzle.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by an individual ("Tenzle", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
If you have any questions, contact us at admin@tenzle.com.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Tenzle. They work together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your data. By using the Service you also acknowledge those policies.
Tenzle is a goal follow-through app, available as a web app at tenzle.com and as native iOS and Android apps. It helps you set goals, turns each goal into a plan of milestones and habits, gives you a short focused list to act on each day, and uses AI at a few points — when it first generates your plan, and in a periodic review — to keep that plan on track.
Tenzle is currently in an early (alpha/beta) stage and is offered on an invite-only basis to a limited group of users. This means features may be incomplete, may change, or may not always work as intended, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Tenzle, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are capable of entering into a binding agreement.
To use Tenzle you need an account, which you create by signing in with Google or (on iOS) with Apple. We do not offer password-based accounts. Access is currently gated by invitation; if you are not on our access list, you may be placed on a waitlist.
You are responsible for:
When using Tenzle, you agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these rules.
You own your content. The information you enter into Tenzle — your goals, tasks, check-in notes, inbox captures, and so on ("Your Content") — remains yours.
Licence to operate the Service. To run the Service for you, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content as needed to provide Tenzle's features. This includes sending the relevant parts of it to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate and review your plan, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.
Your responsibility for what you enter. You are responsible for the content you put into Tenzle. In particular:
Tenzle's suggestions, briefs, questions, observations, and other output are generated by artificial intelligence. You should understand that:
You use AI-generated content at your own discretion and risk.
Some features of Tenzle require a paid subscription.
Purchases are made through the app stores. Subscriptions are sold and processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, using the native iOS and Android apps. Your purchase is a transaction between you and the relevant app store, and it is governed by that store's terms as well as these Terms. We do not take payment directly, and we never see or store your payment card or bank details. The website does not sell subscriptions; it may direct you to the apps to subscribe.
Price and billing period. The price and the billing period (for example weekly, monthly, or annual) are shown to you in the app before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country and may change over time; any change will be shown before it applies to you.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings (in the App Store or Google Play account settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, it will be described in the app before you subscribe. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged for the first paid period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged automatically. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Refunds. Because purchases are processed by the app stores, refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google, at their discretion and under their policies. Tenzle cannot issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact the relevant app store.
Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, you can use "Restore Purchases" in the app to restore an active subscription tied to your app store account.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. An app store subscription is managed by Apple or Google, not by us. If you delete your Tenzle account while a subscription is active, the subscription will keep renewing and charging you until you cancel it separately in your device's subscription settings.
The Service itself — including the Tenzle name, branding, logo, design, software, and content we provide (but excluding Your Content) — belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use our branding or to copy or reuse the Service beyond using it as intended.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. Please read them carefully.
Tenzle relies on third-party services to operate, including Supabase, Google (Gemini, sign-in, and Firebase Cloud Messaging), Apple (Sign in with Apple), the Apple App Store and Google Play, RevenueCat, web push services, PostHog, Plausible, and Google Fonts. Your use of features that involve these providers may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we choose our providers carefully and describe them in our Privacy Policy.
Because Tenzle is an early-stage product, we provide it on an "as available" basis. We may change, add, suspend, or remove features, or interrupt or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part), at any time, including during maintenance or development. We will try to give notice of significant changes where reasonable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and we are not liable for downtime.
By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or from our Delete your account page if you cannot use the app. This removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Note that deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription — see Section 8.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable and lawful, we will try to give you notice.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (such as content licences already granted, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
Nothing in this section affects any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you may have legal rights that these Terms do not affect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and these Terms do not remove those protections.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these Terms were last revised. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
For any question about these Terms, contact us at admin@tenzle.com.
