Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Tenzle ("Tenzle", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) when you use the Tenzle application and website at tenzle.com (the "Service"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.

If you have any questions, contact us at admin@tenzle.com.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device so it can recognise you and remember certain information between visits or requests.

Tenzle also uses browser local storage and session storage — these are similar mechanisms built into your browser that let the app store data on your device. Unlike cookies, the data we keep in local and session storage stays on your own device and is not automatically sent to our servers with each request.

In this policy, "cookies" is used loosely to refer to all of these technologies unless stated otherwise.

2. How Tenzle Approaches Cookies

We keep our use of cookies minimal. We use:

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data or use cookies to track you across other websites.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function — for example, to keep you logged in and to protect your account. They do not require consent, because the Service cannot work without them. If you block them, you will not be able to use Tenzle.

sb_rtStores your authentication refresh token so your session can be renewed without logging in again. Set as HTTP-only and secure.Strictly necessaryUp to 30 days (sliding)

4. Data We Store on Your Device (Local Storage)

To make the app responsive and remember your choices, Tenzle stores some information in your browser's local and session storage. This data stays on your device.

This includes:

This information is used only to run the app on your device. If you clear your browser storage, this data is removed (and cached content will simply be regenerated next time you use the app).

5. Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use two tools, which are treated differently:

Plausible (no consent required). Plausible is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It does not set cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not collect personal identifiers. It only gives us anonymous, aggregated information (such as how many people viewed a page). Because it does not store or access information on your device and does not identify you, it does not require your consent.

PostHog (optional — only with your consent). PostHog is a product-analytics tool that helps us understand how features are used and can record masked session replays (where text and inputs are hidden). PostHog does store information on your device and is not strictly necessary. For that reason, we treat it as optional, and it will only run if you give your consent. PostHog identifies activity using an opaque internal user identifier rather than your name or email, and we configure it to mask the text and inputs you type. You can decline or withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 7), and the Service will work fully without it.

6. Third-Party Connections

Some features of Tenzle connect to third-party services, which can involve data being sent to those providers:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

7. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies

Optional analytics (PostHog). Where the Service asks for your consent to optional analytics, you can decline, and you can change your mind at any time. To withdraw consent after giving it, contact us at admin@tenzle.com or use any in-app controls we provide.

Browser controls. You can control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and storage for a specific site. Doing this for the strictly necessary cookies in Section 3 will prevent you from logging in and using Tenzle.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to it, so we cannot promise to respond to every such signal, but our optional analytics will not run without your consent regardless.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service or the tools we use change. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
